This is a watercolor painting using the reference photo by Li Newton "Sunrise on the Sierras" on "paintmyphotos." The photo was taken on eastern side of the Sierra Nevada Mts. near Owens Valley CA, USA. It is where mountains meet the desert. 300lb paper was used
