A Juxtaposition on Birds
A 15"x22" watercolor on 140lb cp Arches paper. I did not see the juxtaposition of the pelican to the dainty sandpipers, until after I finished the painting. The reference photo had seagulls, that were almost the size of the pelican and I wanted to my focal point on the pelican.

Rocky Cove
I did a series of seascapes, using different technique. A pallette knife was used on the rocks
