Jonah

A 6"x10" watercolor on 140lb cp paper.  This is Jonah at 13 months, he is 2 years old and looking quite like a little boy.  I took this photo when he came to visit me with his 祖母.

Lucas

This is a 6" x 10" watercolor on 300lb cp paper.  I had a busy 3 months with family affairs.  My sister broke her leg at the beginning of December and my Mom got sick on Christmas day and was hospitalized,  so very busy with family.  I did get four scarfs knitted during that time and worked on portraits.  This is Lucas.  I took the photo just as something caught his eye on the TV.

My Grandma Peikert

A 7.5"x 9" watercolor on 300lb cp paper.  I always wanted to do a portrait of my Grandma, such character in that old face.  He father was a doctor of English descent that came out west for gold at 55 years of age and met an Indian women from the CA Mono tribe.   Their union produce five children, my Grandmother being one of the five. She lived to be 106 years old.
