The Gold Dredge

A gold dredge on the Bear river CA. My dad loved gold panning in the rivers of Northern CA. I have joined him many times and it is very hard work, but just being on the river, you soon forget.

No Hands Bridge

Part of my growing up years was in the CA gold country. In the summers when temperatures would hit 102 F we would head for the river. This is the "No Hands Bridge" in the Auburn area.
