Rabbits in the Field

In spring the hills of California are graced with poppies, lupines and mustard. This is my first attempt at capturing the colors and animals. The rabbits, well… I started this painting during Easter. I have a renewed respect for wildlife artist, the fur. 15x22" watercolor on 300lb rough

  1. I was interested that you had Catherine Anderson's DVD on glazing. Do you use the glazing technique in each of your paintings? Love the rabbits.

  2. Thank you, Jean... No, I do not use Catherine's technique on all my paintings, but I do glaze several times where I want deeper values.

I just looked at your site. Nice artwork. Your watercolors have a nice soft feel to them. Keep painting and enjoying it all as I do.
